This painting has a special story.

After my 2nd year in JRRMV my cousin Baiba Krisjane could not believe the paintings were actually painted by me. She insisted to see how I make a painting from start to finish. It took long hours in the middle of a hot summer day not far away from her parents' house. Baiba stood behind me, walked back and forth without leaving me for a moment till the painting was finished.

Years after I heard she got a bachelor's degree in art history.
